Head to the Tin Shed

There’s a new web site that I thought you all might like to check out. The site is called The Tin Shed and was recently launched by outdoor gear company Patagonia.

The website features several adventure films that you could literally spend all day watching. There are films for just about any outdoor adventure - anywhere from alpine mountaineering and rock climbing, to extreme skiing, surfing or even fly fishing. The site also has a couple of films that deal exclusively with outdoor gear.

Some of the videos were produced by Patagonia, while others are selected segments from outdoor films.

The site also includes audio files, field reports, and a slideshow on the history of the Tin Shed.

The Tin Shed, by the way, is where Yvon Chouinard started and operated Patagonia for the first several years after its founding in 1966.

The site is very slick and has a very unique feel to it. It’s a great way to pass some time when you’re not making your own adventures.

Click here to visit the site.
