Etnier. The author lives in Knoxville TN. This book is being used to set a hiking schedule for the GSMNP 75th Anniversary and it is being used by many hikers (including me) who are aspiring to become members of the 900-Miler Club.

A second book I highly recommend is Hiking The Carolina Mountains by Danny Bernstein. The author lives in Asheville. Although this book does not concentrate solely on the Park, she includes some select hikes on the NC side and she placed an emphasis on history. Danny has a second book coming out in the spring of 2009.smoky scouthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08142614926628949343noreply@blogger.com
