In this short video, Jennifer Pharr Davis discusses why she loves the Appalachian Trail. In case you're not aware, Jennifer still holds the women's world record for the fastest hike on the A.T. (which was also the overall record for four years) - hiking the trail in 46 days, 11 hours, and 20 minutes. Roughly 71 miles of the Appalachian Trail travels across the crest of the Smokies.
