I found it quite interesting, and perplexing, that mountain biking had a much lower injury rate than "bicycle riding", which I would interpret to mean road cycling. The only explanation that I can think of is that "bicycle riding" includes more children.
Unfortunately hiking was not included in the study.

Camping is awesome! So I have a suggestion to make, buy yourself a hammock tent because it will keep you soooo comfortable while camping!
Yah, I find that stat for Mountain Biking vs Road Biking interesting as well. Maybe it also has something to do with the fact that Mountain Biking requires more skill and attention, or that Mountain Bikers are a tougher breed and less likely to report injuries.
