Next weekend, Amicalola Falls State Park and Lodge in Georgia will be holding an Appalachian Trail Celebration & Backpacking Clinic.
The three day event will take place on March 4th thru March 6th, from 9AM to 5PM.
Attendees will hear about Appalachian Trail adventures from the past and present, and learn how they can conserve the trail and its legacy in the future. There will be demonstrations and workshops by professionals and retailers on an assortment of backpacking gear, and discussions on trip preparation. No registration is required to attend.
