Below are a few random photos I took during an evening drive on the Cades Cove Loop Road. All four photos were shot on Hyatt Lane. The coyote in the third photo was steadily making his way towards us until a car showed-up. I took the picture just before he disappeared into the grass.

Very nice! Was there this past week. Did see a few bears.
I was in this same spot several years ago in winter and saw a buck sprint across the lane. He was being followed by a coyote who stopped suddently and gave up the chase. From a distance I saw it pick something up in its mouth and then head back into the field. I got closer and saw that it had found a dead deer off to the side of the lane and had taken its leg rather than continue after the buck.
