Alright, need some help identifying an object I saw on the Boogerman Trail. The implement in the photo below was near the stone walls of the old Carson Messer homestead, just east of the Caldwell Fork Trail junction. Does anybody know what this is or what it was used for?

I think it's part of a small mill shop - to plane logs.
I've seen this contraption on other regional trails.
Danny - thanks for the lead. Seems to make sense. I did a quick search on Google seeing if I could verify your suggestion, but came up empty - but that doesn't mean your wrong, just means I'm using the wrong search terms.

It's a fleezel, with a poperkeg sticking up. It is used in the plat with a clempt.
