Who says you can't cook bacon and eggs over a campfire in a paper bag?
Thanks to Backpacker Magazine, we all know how to do it now:

Been teaching this in Girl Scouts for years!
Ha! Scouts don't count - they already know everything, anyway!
:)
I liked the tip about freezing the cracked eggs in your water bottle.
A few years ago, I saw a backpacker transport his eggs in...the plastic little Easter Eggs you put candy in. He put each egg in an Easter Egg and reported he didn't lose a single one to cracking.
The water bottle-freezing technique is a little less colorful, but I bet it works out better in the long run. :)
