Great Smoky Mountains officials have announced that the Wears Cove entrance to the park will be closed from March 15 - April 5 for bridge and utility line replacement. There will be no access to the Little Greenbrier Schoolhouse during this time. Metcalf Bottoms Picnic Area will open as scheduled on April 1. The north loop and picnic pavilion will open on April 6.
