The Abrams Falls Trail in Cades Cove is closed, apparently due to bear activity. Right now there is no other information available.

In addition to the trail closing, there are a couple of new bear warnings posted today as well. Just this past Friday there were 11 warnings. There are now 14. Here's the full list:

• Backcountry Campsites 6, 13, 21, 24, 29, 35, 38
• Cosby Knob Shelter
• Icewater Spring Shelter
• Mount Le Conte Shelter
• Pecks Corner Shelter
• Tricorner Knob Shelter
• Trillium Gap Trail up to and around Grotto Falls
• Crooked Arm Ridge Trail (lower portion)

Here's a list of closings due to bear activity:

• Backcountry Campsites 10, 15, 40, and 93
• Russell Field Shelter
